Animal Welfare Board of India acts following The Probe’s story on man animal conflict

Animal Welfare Board of India will start mass awareness camps to educate the citizens on the importance of human-animal co-existence. Speaking to The Probe, OP Chaudhury, the Chairman of the Animal Welfare Board of India said that he will take cognizance of The Probe's story as well as numerous other complaints recieved by the Board on man-animal conflict and soon organise awareness camps to ease the situation.

The Probe had reported on incidents of brutal assaults on animal lovers during the pandemic by local residents. Assuring The Probe of stringent action against such perpetrators, Mr Chaudhury said "If the man-animal conflict goes beyond control then we can also take the help of the police".
