By The Probe
New Update

As of March 2022, more than 4.7 crore cases are pending in various courts across India. The Supreme Court alone has over 70,000 pendencies, and 25 High Courts across India have around 58 lakh pending cases. The rate of pendency of cases has been rapidly increasing in our courts. The dearth of lawyers, judges, judicial and support staff, insufficient courts, unfilled vacancies, the reasons are many for the sorry state of affairs. In this podumentary, we discuss the problems and some key solutions.
